Edition 6

Welcome to Edition 6!!!!!!We Are going about today onthe topic of computer viruses!!!

VIRUS

A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer without permission or knowledge of the user. The term "virus" is also commonly used, albeit erroneously, to refer to many different types of malware and adware programs. The original virus may modify the copies, or the copies may modify themselves, as occurs in a metamorphic virus. A virus can only spread from one computer to another when its host is taken to the uninfected computer, for instance by a user sending it over a network or the Internet, or by carrying it on a removable medium such as a floppy disk, CD, or USB drive. Meanwhile viruses can spread to other computers by infecting files on a network file system or a file system that is accessed by another computer. Viruses are sometimes confused with computer worms and Trojan horses. A worm can spread itself to other computers without needing to be transferred as part of a host, and a Trojan horse is a file that appears harmless. Worms and Trojans may cause harm to either a computer system's hosted data, functional performance, or networking throughput, when executed. In general, a worm does not actually harm either the system's hardware or software, while at least in theory, a Trojan's payload may be capable of almost any type of harm if executed. Some can't be seen when the program is not running, but as soon as the infected code is run, the virus kicks in. That is why it is so hard for people to find viruses themselves and why they have to use spyware programs and registry processors.

Edition 4

Welcome to Edition 4 of Computer Badshah's Buzz!!!!!!!Today we are going to tell you the differnce between Mozzila Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer!!!!!!!!

The major differences that come to my mind immediately are:-- Firefox has tabbed browsing; IE just opens new windows-- Firefox has built-in pop-up blocking. Also, since IE comes automatically with most Windows installations, and because most people lack the [inclination/expertise] to switch to a non-IE browser, ~95% of PC users use IE. So whenever someone wants to write malicious code (spyware, virus, etc...), they will write it for the widest installed base. As a result, many bad things that happen on the 'net don't affect PCs browsing with Firefox. Most crackers usually find it not worth the hassle to find hidden flaws in 5% of PCs when you can easilly exploit the many publicly-known security holes in 95% of PCs.Relsqui : You are correct: I did leave out a lot. Would you care to elaborate beyond my answer, or merely post comments? You seem to have a longer list than I do, and thus may be able to answer better than I.As for Firefox being free, you are also correct. However, IE is also free, and it installs automatically with Windows. IE usually comes pre-installed from the factory! The AVERAGE person will just use whatever is easiest and least labor/brain-intensive. Double-clicking the IE icon Windows automatically puts on your desktop is a lot quicker and easier than bothering to learn about browsers (not everyone online is computer-savvy), obtaining, installing, and configuring Firefox, especially if you already feel you have an adequate web browser .

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Now lets learn how to hack an id with an aol mail id!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Read this article i published on the internet-
THE HOAX Let's dispose of one technique that is absolutely a hoax (meaning a fraud: something intended to deceive; deliberate trickery intended to gain an advantage.) If you see a newsgroup post or web page with something like the following, it is a hoax and will not work. : : : (([[THIS REALLY WORKS ]])) : : : (1) send an E-mail to passwordrecovery@yourdomainhere.com (2) In the subject box type the screenname of the person whose password you wish to steal (3) In the message box type the following: /cgi-bin/start?v703&login.USER=passmachine&class=supervisor&f={your aol password}&f=27586&javascript=ACTIVE&rsa (4) Send the e-mail with priority set to "high" (red ! in some mailprograms) (5) wait 2-3 minutes and check your mail (6) Read the message.-Where YOUR password was typed before, NOW, the password of the screenname in the code string is there!!! Why does this work? It´s a special decryption-server that AOL-employees can use to decrypt passwords. The aolbackdoor account is a bot that reads your authentification from the message body and identifiying you as a valid AOL Staff-member, you will get the password mailed back to you. The trick is that this Bot´s script seems to be a little bit buggy and it automatically recogises you as an supervisor (AOL-Staff member), even if you use a normal AOL account. This means, that EVERYONE having a valid AOL account can hack as many other accounts as he wants. This is just a scam to steal your password and may explain some of the calls we get from people saying they were hacked. Never give your password to anyone. No legitimate web service or customer service representative will ask for it or need it. There is no magic email address or series of commands that will reveal the passwords of users.

Review section

This time we review on The software "Media Monkey"-

Media Monkey

MediaMonkey is a music manager and jukebox for serious music collectors and iPod users. It catalogs your CDs, OGG, WMA, MPC, FLAC, APE, WAV and MP3 audio files. It offers an intelligent tag editor which looks up missing Album Art and track information via Freedb and the web, and an automated file and directory renamer to organize your music library. It includes a CD ripper, CD/DVD Burner, and audio converter for saving music, and manual or automated playlist editors for creating music mixes. Its player automatically adjusts volume levels so that you don't have continually fiddle with the volume control and supports hundreds of Winamp plug-ins and visualizations; or if you prefer, it can use Winamp as the default player. It also includes portable audio device synchronization that allows you to quickly synch tracks and playlists with iPods, MP3 Phones, and other portable audio devices.

Version 2.5.5 adds support for iTunes phones, improves iPod and MTP device synchronization, improves FLAC support.
expert review:Despite a glut of free player/encoders, it's tough to find one that meets our expectations. Formerly known as Sound DB, MediaMonkey has excellent library-management tools that keep the largest digital music collections well organized. Stir that up with integrated CD and DVD burning, a stellar interface, a full-featured encoder, and the ability to sync with portable audio devices such as the iPod, and you have a pretty compelling product.

Upon first launch, the program scans your drive for supported digital media files to add to the library. Files are sorted based on their ID3 tags, and the helpful Auto-Rename and Auto-Tag From Filename features keep untagged tracks from falling through the cracks. Party mode locks down your library while still allowing people to request songs. Auto DJ plays selections from your library even when there are no requests in the queue. Third-party plug-ins are available from the site if you want to tinker with the playback and encoding engine or add additional sound-processing effects. The interface is well designed, with clean, colorful icons throughout.

Considering the overall polish of this application, you'll be hard-pressed to find anything you don't like. Although it's definitely geared toward managing extensive collections, just about anyone will appreciate the comprehensive feature set. For $20, MediaMonkey Gold adds advanced features such as sleep, scripting, previewing, and on-the-fly file conversion when syncing with a portable device.
